Lucy Cordes Engelman is an artist who works primarily with film, video, installation, performance, and writing. She is based between Amsterdam and Los Angeles.

Lucypractice explores ecology, consciousness, and the invisible forces that shape our experience of the world. Rooted in long-term artistic research, her work is guided by ways of knowing that emerge through place, embodied experience, and close collaboration with the more-than-human world. Rather than treating landscape, plants, light, or matter as passive subjects, she approaches them as collaborators with their own agency and intelligence.

Working across film, video, installation, performance, and writing, Lucy creates poetic, research-driven works that move between documentary and myth, scientific inquiry and speculative thought. She is currently investigating the embodied possibilities of the moving image in relation to cosmic consciousness, the sacred landscapes of the living Earth, and the re-emergence of cyclical, relational ways of knowing.

Her work has been shared in the US, the UK, South America, Asia, and Europe, and her writing has been published in various publications, including &&& , Marrow Magazine , and Boca a Boca.
